Week #76

Hello hello to all of my favorite humans!

Well if there is one word to describe this week it would be ISNANE! Many
miracles have been brought to pass in the land of Citrus Ridge! It all
started with and FHE at Brother Cottam's home Monday evening. He had all the
ward missionaries and missionaries serving in our ward over. We played
volleyball and discussed the growth that has happened in our ward! The
work is so much fun when you work as a team with members and missionaries hand
in hand.

The ward started a new thing where a family is chosen each week as the
missionary family. They are challenged to prayerfully seek missionary
opportunities. This week was the Rosin Family and boy did they have some
pretty amazing things happen. Last week while the youth served a mock
mission their family went to Disney. I mean who wouldn’t want to serve a
mock mission at Disney! ;) They were able to talk with this young man for
quite a while as they were riding the tram back to where their car was
parked. The tram pulled up to his station where he was suppose to get off
but cute little Isley, who is 3, asked him if he would stay and walk her to
the car. I guess 3 years olds have the magic touch. The Rosin Family
continued to talk with him and they exchanged numbers. Long story short the
young man texted him and they invited him over for dinner! It was a huge
lesson to me of the importance of being everyday missionaries just by
talking to those around us!

Transfer day was chaos! We are all pretty sure that President Cooper hit
shuffle on the missionary board because there were so many cars at the
mission office. I was able to see Sister Neibaur and Sister Frye which made
my heart so happy! It also broke into pieces because that was the last time
I would see them until they get home from their missions! It brought a few
tears to my eyes. It was tough saying goodbye to Sister Smith but I know
the Lord has called her to Riverview for a reason! I took Sister Sorensen
back to Citrus Ridge with me. She is Sister Suman’s new companion. As we
were driving back out to good old Citrus Ridge she says “hey I forgot there
are cows here” (she was trained in the Lakeland Zone). I forgot that cows
aren’t usually the first thing that come to your mind when you hear the
word Florida!

Sister Barlow and I have had such a blast these last couple of days. I just
love her! We have set goals and we are working diligently to find prepared
people who are ready for baptism. We had a huge miracle happen this week.
We have been trying to get in contact with a part member family since I’ve
been here. During weekly scheduling the Sister answered the phone and told
us we would be able to come over that night. It was a great lesson! Then we
went over to a Less Actives home who we haven’t been able to get a hold of
and they answered. Not only did they answer but his wife was home which
meant we could go inside! They expressed that they would like to become
active so they can be sealed in the Temple! I love that this is the Lords
work! It is incredible the miracles we can see as we live worthy of them. I
love this gospel and I love being a missionary!

Love,
Sister Kenzie Graham
