Week #67


Hey Everyone, 

I hope you all have had a wonderful week! It has been FREEZING here in good old Florida this week! I always forget that it gets cold here. It reminds me of home. This weeks email is going to be brief. It has been a crazy week to say the least. I’ve been pretty sick for most of the week but on the upward hill which is always the best! 

We have been going Christmas caroling with members in our ward a couple of nights a week! It is a lot of fun. We go and carol to other members in the ward and then ask if they have any neighbors who need a little Christmas spirit! We knocked on one of our members neighbors doors and when they opened up we started to sing. I’ve never seen a family so excited. The teenage girls were dancing as we sang! It is definitely the Christmas season! 

I just want to share my testimony that I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. It is because of him that we are able to overcome the challenges of life. It is because of him that we can gain strength to face the challenges of life. I know that the gospel brings pure joy! I love the Book of Mormon and the spirit that fills my heart every time I read from it. I have a strong testimony of that book. I know that it is the word of God and that anyone who reads it will grow closer to God. I have been reading the Book of Mormon with a question. Who is Jesus Christ to me? I have highlighted in pink his attributes and characteristics, and in blue I’ve highlighted what I can to do grow closer to him and how I can become more like him. I know that every page of the Book of Mormon testifies of our Savior Jesus Christ! 

Let this Christmas season be about Christ! Serve and love those around you! I hope you all have a wonderful week!
