Week #52

Hey Hey Everyone,

All I can say is this week has been crazy! Too many things have
happened and not enough time to tell you what. My heart was ripped out
this week. Saying goodbye to the YSA and Sister Barlow was one of the
hardest things! For FHE we had a massive uno tournament and it was so
much fun. Tuesday Sister Barlow and I had the opportunity to contact
downtown with the new missionaries. It was killer! I swear each new
set of missionaries is just more and more prepared! We all headed back
to President and Sister Coopers home for dinner and Sister Barlow and I lost
the assistants on the way so we had to take a detour! We were dying
because we had a bunch of starving missionaries in the back who
definitely all wanted food!

My new Companion is Sister Robertson. She is from California and loves
to sing. Haha I'm definitely going to have her teach me! It took us
about an hour and a half to get to our area! Citrus Ridge is so
different than Tampa! It is the very North East part of the mission.
We have to be careful or we will go out of mission boundaries. I am
use to the city where you hear cars honking and sirens every 5
seconds. It is calm and low key up here! We pulled in and unloaded all
of our stuff!

We sat down at the kitchen table and I look at Sister Robertson told
her I had no idea what to do and that we were in this together. It has
been just a minute since I've been in a family area. I've definitely
called Sister Barkdull with a million questions. Haha finally starting
to shake off the rust. The first thing we did was call the Bishop and
Relief Society President and told them how excited we were to be
serving in the ward. The two of them are just incredible. We have met
all of the recent converts and almost all of the investigators. We
have met with members, less actives, and contacted potentials. You
could say our brains our mush! Haha I can't remember anyone's names!

Sunday, we had an amazing miracle happen. We were greeting people at
the doors of the chapel trying to get to know everyone's names. This
Sister came up and introduced herself. She is new to the ward and told
us that she spoke Spanish and wanted to come out teaching with us. We
grabbed her phone number and told her we would give her a call. Here
is where is gets good. Third hour during Relief Society, a visitor
introduced us to her friend, who lives 2 minutes away from the church
and speaks Spanish! The Lord has his hand in everything. Not only does
he provide us with resources to further the work, but he also provides
us with the people.

I know that God lives and I know that he is mindful of each and
everyone of us! Each of us go through change and refinement. I came
across this quote written by President Eyring "You will at times have
your faith challenged by Satan; it happens to all disciples of Jesus
Christ. Your defense against these attacks is to keep the Holy Ghost
as your companion. The Spirit will speak peace to your soul. He will
urge you forward in faith. And He will bring back the memory of those
times when you felt the light and the love of Jesus Christ." I know
that as we hold fast to the Book of Mormon and prayer that we will be
given the spirit. With the spirit of the Lord we can do all things! I
hope you all have a wonderful week!

Love,
Sister Kenzie Graham
