HEY HEY EVERYONE!
Guess what... it's transfer week and.... SISTER NEIBAUR
AND I ARE STAYING TOGETHER IN YSA! Sister Suman and I will be Sister Training
Leader companions and we are all just too excited. The crew is sticking
together!! We have a 7
week long transfer this time. Which we are all pretty pumped about. Sorry this
email is going to be short because of transfers coming up.
The best part of the whole week was Rabi's baptism. He
seriously is such a stud. We had our last lesson with him as an investigator
Saturday evening and he bore his testimony to us. It was thee coolest thing
ever. He said that he was always so confused when people would say " I
know the church is true." Then he said "Sisters I know why people say
the church is true, I know the church is true." I can't even express how
joyful this experience was. He also asked us if he has graduated his classes.
Haha he is just the greatest. Rabi bore his testimony in sacrament meeting and
started singing which was really interesting. The gospel is just so true!
Friday I got to go on an exchange with thee one and only
Sister House. She is one of the sisters serving in the YSA and she is
companions with Sister Suman. We had such a blast contacting on campus and met
some really cool people. Orvell was someone we met walking to the library. He
just barley moved here from Las Vegas and said he has been on a spiritual
journey for quite sometime. We had such a great conversation on how God puts
specific people in our lives and that coincidences are not a real thing. He really
wanted to come to church this week but he doesn't have a car quite yet! Sister
House taught me so much. One thing I loved about being with her is that all we
wanted to do was share the gospel. We took no thought and just went out and
bore our testimonies. How cool would it be if our 15 million members went out
and simply bore their testimonies? The field would be so white!
We had a zone service project this week and it was my
turn to be in charge. Haha my stomach was in my throat all week. This whole
last transfer we had been trying to figure something out. We ended up finding
the Dream Center of Tampa where we cleaned up trash in the community and
cleaned up a park so the kids in the neighborhood have somewhere to play! There
was another church helping us and their pastor got all the missionaries in the
a circle and said a huge prayer with us. It was a neat experience.
I love you all and hope you have an amazing week. Thank
you for all your prayers. I want you all to know the church is true and God is
good!
Love,
Sister Kenzie Graham
Tampa Bay YSA C
