HELLO Family and Friends!!!!!!

Where do I even begin. I love being a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The last 2 days have been the greatest days of my life. When I got to the MTC they give you your badge and it has this special orange dot on it. The Elders call them dork dots haha! When you have this orange dot on every one and I mean everyone will say "Welcome to the MTC." My companion and I loved it at first but after a while you get kind of sick of it. Putting on my badge the last two mornings has been such a wonderful thing. I can not even explain the feeling but it is amazing.

My companions name is Sister Suman and we are two peas in a pod. I absolutely love her! She is from St. George Utah. The funny thing is we found each other on instagram before we came because we are both going to Tampa, Florida. She pushes me to be better each day. We have so much fun, and  work so well together. In class we got to teach a lesson to an investigator (Richard) which was our teacher Brother Smith, he is super cool, I love Brother Smith. We got an hour to prepare a lesson. During the lesson the spirit took control and guided us in a way that I can not even explain. In the short amount of time that I got to teach with my comp, my love for Richard grew. I have a desire to help him come close to our Savior Jesus Christ.  Brother Smith stopped us after the lesson and said he was very impressed with our work. We walked out of the classroom so excited, because teaching the Gospel can be a scary thing. Our district is amazing. The Elders were super shy at first and wouldn't talk to any of the Sisters but as we get to know one another we have bonded and taught each other so much already.

I feel like this email is kind of all over the place and I am typing as fast as I can, But yesterday was quite an eventful day. We have bats in our apartment!!! WHATTT!! yes bats. Our MTC President called all the Sisters to the gym to break the news. It was just in our building on levels 3 and 4, and yes we were on that level. We packed our bags up and had to move to a new residents area. The best part about the move was the fact that we had to move into an Elders building. They moved all the Elders out to that we could move in. Our room definitely smells like nasty boys!! My companion and I had a good laugh about that one.

Later last night we had a meeting with our Branch Presidency. It was amazing! The wives introduced them as couples and bore their testimonies about our Savior Jesus Christ. The spirit was so strong and testified to me that this is our Savior's gospel. We went around the room and got to get to know each other and each one of the Elders and Sisters bore their testimonies. It was wonderful to see how after one full day in the MTC all of our testimonies have become deeper and more profound. After we went over our purpose as missionaries. I love my President because he really helped me realize that this is not my mission and it is not for me. I am an instrument in my Heavenly Father's plan. At the end of the meeting SIster Suman and I got some very exciting new. President Liston asked if we would be willing to serve as Sister Training Leaders. We were so excited. Sister Suman and I will be working almost everyday planning and helping out our zone leaders. I am so excited to be apart of this.

I want to leave you with my testimony that I know this church is true. I know that our Savior lives today and that the lord will call you to the work if you are qualified. The atonement is real and if we are obedient that he will bless us. I love you all and I want you to know how much your Savior Jesus Christ loves you. I have the most amazing companion and I love the MTC!!

Much Love,
Sister Graham
